Why “Le Vigne del Grillo Fuerteventura”? After much reflection and several exploratory trips, we decided to embark on a new life project here in Fuerteventura, where we have permanently moved since the end of October 2023.
We left “Le Vigne del Grillo” in Camaiore, Tuscany, in good hands; Mr. Vincent, who purchased everything we created, will continue and develop the business with passion and new energy.
Building on our previous experience in agritourism, here in Fuerteventura we have started a weekly holiday rental business. We manage everything personally, from the preparation and cleaning of the accommodation to welcoming our guests, assistance during the stay, and the final farewell. This ensures that our guests’ holidays run smoothly at all times, without the setbacks or issues that can arise when delegating tasks to third parties.

Fuerteventura
Long and sunny days.
Fuerteventura’s climate is temperate and mild, with little fluctuation, making it a perfect destination 365 days a year.
Due to its terrain, Fuerteventura rarely experiences rainfall throughout the year. Night temperatures on the island are generally cool in summer and comfortable in winter, allowing for restful sleep and pleasant walks.
The trade winds (mainly from the north in July and August) provide optimal conditions for windsurfing and kitesurfing, especially during the spring and summer months.
The island of Fuerteventura is one of the regions with the most hours of sunshine in Europe: more than 3,000.
Its geographical location also favors long, bright days throughout the year. In winter, the sun rises at 7:30 AM and sets at 6:30 PM; in summer, it rises at 7:00 AM and sets at 8:30 PM.
What to pack?
Thanks to its privileged climate all year round, the only things you should pack, no matter when you arrive, are light clothing, summer shoes, and a few heavier items for the evening or higher altitudes.
Enjoy a sea of sand by the Atlantic.
Perhaps you’ve been told: the natural diversity of the Canary Islands is surprising. During your trip, you will see how the landscapes change radically within just a few kilometers.
What contrasts! This happens, for example, when you visit the Corralejo Natural Park. Gradually, you leave the reddish mountains behind to enter an immeasurable sea of white sand: the Corralejo Dunes. And finally, a beach perfectly suited for kitesurfing and windsurfing enthusiasts.
But Fuerteventura’s coasts are full of special places. For example, La Concha beach in El Cotillo is protected from the waves by a natural barrier, boasting calm turquoise waters and white sand. This village in northern Fuerteventura is also famous for its selection of restaurants where you can enjoy exquisite fresh fish and seafood dishes.

The hiking routes in Fuerteventura are an excellent way to discover the great variety of landscapes that make up the longest island in the archipelago. Hundreds of kilometers of trails allow you to walk among mountains and volcanoes, steep cliffs, desert dunes, caves and, of course, a wide variety of beaches. And the best part is that there are paths for all ages, where there will always be a spot to take a dip.

The clarity of its skies has allowed Fuerteventura to be declared a Starlight Reserve in its entirety, something that can be seen simply by looking up at sunset. However, to see the galaxy in more detail, Fuerteventura offers both astronomical and natural viewpoints and observatories.
